As a Group Production Manager at Savaya Group, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering production operations across the group's venues and events in Bali. You will work closely with the Creative, Events, Entertainment, Operations, Technical, Hospitality, and external production teams to ensure every event is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.
This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced production professional who is confident managing complex projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and delivering exceptional live experiences in a fast-paced hospitality, entertainment, music, or events environment.
What You'll Experience
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
You will oversee the end-to-end production process for events and activations, from initial planning and technical requirements through to installation, live delivery, de-rig, and post-event review. You will ensure production plans are realistic, well organised, and aligned with the creative vision, operational requirements, budget, and venue capabilities.
You will work closely with internal teams, artists, agencies, suppliers, contractors, production crews, and other partners to establish clear responsibilities, timelines, communication channels, and delivery expectations. You will coordinate production meetings, site visits, technical briefings, schedules, event documentation, and operational updates.
You will oversee technical and production requirements including staging, lighting, sound, video, special effects, power, rigging, structures, equipment, access, transport, back-of-house areas, and event infrastructure where applicable. You will help ensure all technical elements are properly specified, delivered, tested, operated, and removed in accordance with approved plans.
You will manage production budgets, quotations, purchase orders, supplier agreements, invoices, and cost tracking. You will review supplier proposals, negotiate where appropriate, monitor expenditure, identify potential risks or additional costs, and support effective financial control across each production.
You will lead production teams during event build, rehearsals, live operations, and pack-down. You will remain present and hands-on during key delivery periods, making informed decisions, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring effective coordination between production, entertainment, hospitality, security, and venue operations.
You will prepare and maintain production schedules, site plans, run sheets, technical riders, risk assessments, method statements, permits, contact lists, and other required documentation. You will ensure production activities comply with health and safety requirements, venue procedures, local regulations, and company standards.
You will support continuous improvement by reviewing event delivery, gathering feedback, documenting lessons learned, and identifying opportunities to improve production quality, efficiency, sustainability, and guest experience across Savaya Group venues.

Could This Be You
- Do you have experience as a Production Manager, Event Production Manager, Technical Production Manager, Show Producer, or in a similar role
- Have you managed live events, music events, festivals, entertainment productions, hospitality activations, or large-scale special events
- Can you manage the full production lifecycle from concept development and planning through to event delivery and de-rig
- Are you confident coordinating technical suppliers, contractors, production crews, artists, agencies, and internal stakeholders
- Do you have strong knowledge of event production requirements including staging, lighting, sound, video, power, rigging, structures, and site operations
- Can you create and manage detailed production schedules, budgets, site plans, run sheets, and technical documentation
- Are you comfortable managing production budgets, supplier quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and cost control
- Do you have a strong understanding of event health and safety, risk management, permits, compliance, and operational procedures
- Can you remain calm, organised, and solutions-focused when managing tight deadlines, changing requirements, or unexpected issues
- Are you a confident communicator who can build effective relationships with creative, technical, operational, and commercial teams
- Can you lead teams and contractors professionally while maintaining high standards of accountability and delivery
- Can you communicate clearly and professionally in English
- Are you flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, event days, and extended production schedules
- Experience in premium hospitality, beach clubs, nightlife, festivals, luxury events, entertainment venues, or international productions is a plus.
