Job Description:
During Phase 1 (Group President's Strategy Office, SP&A, Singapore):
- Conduct internal operational analysis and external benchmarking to uncover growth opportunities and identify initiatives to improve efficiency within the e-commerce business unit.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across the e-commerce unit to implement strategic initiatives, including those related to growth acceleration and operational enhancements.
- Perform in-depth research and analysis on e-commerce market trends, regulatory and policy developments (e.g., tariffs, trade policy), competitive dynamics, and consumer behaviour to inform strategic planning.
- Support both regular and ad hoc business reviews through historical performance analysis, KPI tracking, and forecasting to provide actionable insights and guide business decisions.
During Stage 2 (SEA market placement):
- Responsibilities will vary by opportunity, but typically include: conduct market study and customer interviews onboard sellers adjust marketplace product working with logistics partners to improve user experienc track performance
- Potential countries: Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, or Malaysia.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- a minimum 1 year of working experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm, or equivalent in-house experience
- Proven track record in complex problem-solving using quantitative and qualitative techniques, plus a genuine curiosity to get to the root causes of problems. (Both are must-haves.)
- Clear, structured communicator with stakeholder and project management experience.
- Self-starter comfortable with pace and ambiguity high ownership and bias for action.
