Lustreology is a cosmetics and personal care distributor based in Semarang,

selling through online marketplaces. All of our design work is produced

in-house — every product listing, storefront and campaign is created by our

own team rather than outsourced. We value work that is fast and accurate in

equal measure, clear communication between teams, and steady improvement in

how we produce visual assets.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Graphic Designer role based in Semarang. The

Graphic Designer creates visual assets for digital and print media, including

product listing covers, storefront banners, social media graphics,

promotional and printed materials, and visual identity elements.

Day-to-day tasks include interpreting briefs, developing design concepts,

preparing layouts, selecting typography, and refining graphics based on

feedback. The role involves working closely with our e-commerce and content

teams to keep branding consistent across every channel, and preparing

production-ready files. The Graphic Designer also contributes ideas to

strengthen our brand presence and maintains our design standards.

This position carries a high volume of work. The successful candidate is

expected to handle several assets within a single day while keeping accuracy

intact, and to meet deadlines consistently.

Qualifications

* Strong command of industry-standard design software, specifically Adobe

 Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (or CorelDRAW).

* Proven ability to produce a high volume of assets per day without losing

 accuracy — speed and precision carry equal weight in this role.

* A portfolio that can be shown at application stage, demonstrating visual

 creativity and attention to detail.

* Skills in layout and typography, with an understanding of hierarchy and

 readability across both digital and print media.

* Experience in logo design and branding, including building and applying a

 cohesive visual identity across different touchpoints.

* Careful attention to written detail — product names, sizes and product

 claims must be reproduced exactly as provided.

* Ability to interpret briefs, work within brand guidelines, and present

 design concepts clearly to non-design colleagues.

* Relevant education in Design, Visual Communication or a related field is

 beneficial but not required; portfolio carries more weight.

* Beneficial additional skills: packaging design, Figma, short-form video

 editing, and product photography.

* Able to work on-site in Semarang. This role is on-site, not remote —

 candidates must be based in Semarang or willing to relocate.

Working Arrangement

Monday to Saturday, 09.00–18.00, on-site in Semarang Barat.

Fixed-term employment contract (PKWT). Competitive salary.
