Golang Developer

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer, Software Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Golang (Go) and proven experience designing and implementing high-performance, scalable microservices.
• Solid experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and/or gRPC APIs.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases.
• Experienced in implementing and working with message brokers, such as Apache Kafka or Apache Pulsar, particularly for asynchronous processing and event-driven systems.
• Strong understanding of system performance optimization, scalability, availability, and reliability.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including containerized application deployment and orchestration.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Experienced in conducting and participating in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Comfortable facilitating pair programming sessions to improve code quality, problem-solving, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
• Able to proactively identify potential edge cases, bottlenecks, risks, and technical debt, and propose appropriate solutions.
• Strong ability to investigate and troubleshoot production issues quickly, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes.
• Able to collaborate effectively with Frontend, DevOps, Product, QA, and other cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including clean code, maintainability, testing, observability, and version control.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building distributed systems or event-driven architectures.
• Experience working in high-traffic or high-availability production environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• Experience applying software design principles and architectural patterns for scalable backend systems.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and infrastructure best practices.
