About The Role
A Region Analytics Associate plays a critical role in driving data-informed decisions by conducting in-depth analyses of regional operations, sales, and user growth. This position supports the development and maintenance of performance dashboards, prepares comprehensive monthly reports, and assists in presenting actionable insights. By collaborating with regional teams and cross-functional stakeholders, the associate monitors and identifies trends in supply (driver reliability) and demand (customer behavior), aiding in the development of strategies to address regional challenges. This role also provides analytical support to senior management, contributing to the continuous improvement of business performance. With a focus on skill development and business acumen, the associate ensures high-quality analysis that supports sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
What You Will Do
- Conduct data analyses on regional operations, sales, and user growth, providing actionable insights including ad-hoc requests assigned by Region Analytics Manager.
- Assist in developing and maintaining regional performance dashboards using tools such as Quick BI, Maxcompute, Metabase, and SQL.
- Prepare and assist in presenting monthly regional reports, highlighting key findings.
- Collaborate with regional function teams to support the implementation of data-driven strategies
- Monitor regional supply (merchant/driver), demand (customer trends), identifying trends and issues.
- Support initiatives to address regional supply and demand challenges, working with cross-functional teams.
- Provide analytical support to the Region Analytics Manager and Senior Manager.
- Continuously develop your analytical skills and knowledge of regional business dynamics, also keep updating business knowledge/acumen to improve quality of analysis.
What You Will Need
- Min. 3 years of experience in business analytics, data analysis, or related roles (regional or multi-market experience is a plus);
- Strong in querying data in SQL, understand basic statistics, data engineering;
- Experience conducting data analysis, generating reports, and identifying actionable insights based on business needs;
- Proficient presentation skills, with the ability to prepare reports for internal teams and management;
- Ability to work on problem-solving initiatives as part of a cross-functional team;
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal;
- Experienced using Quick BI is a plus;
- Demonstrate good attitude and collaboration skill.
