Job Description

Location: Global (100% Overseas Travel – Mining & Construction Sites)

Department: Overseas Service Support Department

Reports to: Overseas Training Manager

About Sany Heavy Equipment (Sany HE):

As a subsidiary of the Sany Group, the world's leading heavy machinery manufacturer, we are committed to providing robust mining trucks, excavators, and handling equipment to global clients. To support our rapid expansion in emerging markets, we are seeking a dynamic Technical Trainer to empower our local service teams and customers worldwide.

The Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lecturer/Trainer who is willing to be on the road. You will not be stuck in an office; instead, you will travel to customer sites across different continents. Your mission is to deliver technical training to overseas service engineers, ensuring they master the maintenance, hydraulic systems, and electrical principles of Sany's mining vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Training: Travel globally (up to 90% of the time) to customer job sites to conduct on-site theoretical and practical training.
  • Curriculum Delivery: Teach courses including Mechanical Principles, Hydraulic Schematics, Electrical Fault Diagnosis, and Engine Maintenance for mining trucks.
  • Skill Assessment: Evaluate the technical skills of overseas local service staff and certify their competencies.
  • Language Bridge: Conduct training in English (Mandarin is a plus) to bridge the gap between Chinese technical experts and foreign frontline engineers.
  • Documentation: Translate and localize technical manuals from Chinese to simple, understandable English for local technicians.

Requirements (The Must-Haves):

1. Education & Background:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.

2. Industry Experience (Critical):

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, or mining machinery.
  • Priority will be given to candidates with experience in: Mining Trucks (Rigid or Articulated Dump Trucks), Heavy Haulage, or Construction Machinery (Excavators, Wheel Loaders).
  • Hands-on maintenance or field service experience is highly preferred.

3. Language & Soft Skills:

  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory – you must be able to explain complex mechanical failures clearly.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to handle cultural diversity.
  • High adaptability: Willing to work in remote mining areas or desert environments.

4. Other:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain a passport with no travel restrictions.
