About AI Rudder

AI Rudder is a conversational AI company on a mission to transform how businesses communicate with their customers — across voice and digital channels that feel genuinely human.

Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Singapore, we're building technologies that bridge languages, enhance understanding, and enable meaningful human–machine communication at scale.

Today, we serve 500+ enterprise clients globally processing 50 million calls daily and having delivered more than 8 billion calls to date.

Most recently, we have raised $50M in a Series B fundraising from leading global investors including Tiger Global, Peak XV Partners, and Cathay Innovation.

How We Work:

  • AI-first: AI isn't a tool we reach for. It's the default we start from. Every team, every workflow: AI-first.
  • Global Collaboration: We operate globally and work as one team. Distance is a logistics problem, not a cultural one. We build the habits that make distributed teams actually work
  • Communication Principle: Simple, Trust, Transparent. We remove unnecessary complexity so people can focus on what matters most.

What We Offer

  • Learning & Development: Continuous learning through real projects, knowledge sharing session, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Performance Recognition: Regular performance reviews, feedback, and opportunities for career progression.
  • Global Exposure: Collaborate with international teams, global rotations, and work with global enterprise customers.
  • Meaningful Impact: Build AI solutions that create real value for businesses around the world.
  • Ownership & Autonomy: Freedom to take initiative and drive outcomes.
  • Team Engagement: Team Building, Local & Global Gatherings & Local Events Celebration

AI Rudder is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants.

We are hiring a SSC/People Operations Specialist to join our Global people Team, based in Jakarta. In this role, you will deliver global high-quality HR operational support, partnering with the HRBP, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a seamless employee experience — from onboarding through offboarding.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on operational work, thrives in a multi-country environment, and wants to grow their HR career within a global function.

What You Will Do :

Onboarding & Employee Experience

Country Expansion & Vendor Management

- Support the initial HR setup for new countries entering the region

- Manage day-to-day communications and coordination with Employer of Record (EOR) vendors

- Track vendor deliverables and SLAs, escalating issues as needed

Employee Lifecycle & Data

- Manage employee lifecycle events including onboarding, internal transfers, and offboarding

- Maintain accurate employee records, assignment files, and HRIS data

- Track and audit visa, insurance, and assignment expiration dates; proactively flag renewals and required actions

Policy, Process & Knowledge

- Help develop and maintain HR policies, SOPs, and country-specific Q&A documentation, and spot process gaps and recommend improvements

Daily SSC Operations

- Handle day-to-day operational tasks and respond to employee inquiries in a timely, service-oriented way

- Escalate complex or sensitive issues appropriately while owning them through to resolution

Payroll Coordination

- Serve as the primary point of contact for external payroll and EOR vendors

- Audit payroll input data (new hires, salary changes, leave, terminations, business travels etc.) for accuracy before each cycle

- Coordinate issue resolution between the vendor and internal stakeholders; escalate discrepancies promptly

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in HR Operations or HR Shared Services, ideally supporting employees across multiple countries.
  • Solid knowledge of Indonesia employment practices and labor regulations;
  • Familiarity with employment laws and HR practices in other APAC markets (e.g., Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philipine, Singapore) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, and HR documentation.
  • Experience working with Employer of Record (EOR) vendors and HRIS platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in handling employee data and HR documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Additional language proficiency is a plus; Mandarin proficiency is preferred but not required.
