Job Description
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily activities of the finance and accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Ensure the effective execution of finance and accounting plans and strategies.
- Resolve escalated financial and accounting issues promptly and efficiently.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with finance and accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Provide guidance and support to finance and accounting staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance finance and accounting processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting
- Good understanding of General Ledger (GL), Fixed Asset, and Financial Reporting processes.
- Experienced in month-end closing and financial reporting processes.
- Strong ability to analyze financial statements, identify accounting issues, and provide appropriate solutions.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good leadership and people management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/accounting systems is a plus.
- Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
