Role Description The German Teacher (residing already in Indonesia) will deliver engaging, learner-centered German language instruction to groups and individual learners in Denpasar, with a focus on practical communication and exam preparation. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and teaching lessons across different proficiency levels, creating and adapting materials to sector-specific needs (such as healthcare, hospitality, and maritime), and assessing learner progress through tests, assignments, and feedback sessions. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to align curricula with certification requirements, support students in their exam readiness, and contribute to continuous improvement of teaching methods and resources. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Denpasar language center, requiring regular class hours and some preparation outside classroom time.
Qualifications
- Strong German Teaching and Tutoring skills, with experience supporting diverse learner profiles and proficiency levels.
- Demonstrated Teaching and Education expertise, including lesson planning, classroom management, and learner assessment.
- An examiner's license from ÖSD / Goethe Institut / Telc will be an added advantage.
- Excellent command of German (preferably C1 or above) and good English & Indonesian (Bahasa) communication skills.
- Relevant degree or certification in German language, education, linguistics, or a related field.
- Ability to design practical, goal-oriented learning activities and adapt materials for different sectors (e.g., healthcare, hospitality, maritime).
- Comfort working in an international, multicultural environment and supporting learners from varied backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and commitment to on-site teaching in Denpasar or Jakarta.
