General Manager Sales – Premium Automotive Dealer

Confidential Opportunity

A premium automotive dealer group is currently seeking a highly driven and hands-on General Manager Sales to lead and strengthen its sales operations across multiple branches.

This role is ideal for a strong sales leader with proven experience in the automotive industry, especially within premium, luxury, or high-value brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business performance, leading branch sales teams, improving sales processes, and ensuring consistent achievement of targets across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage overall sales operations across multiple dealer branches.
  • Drive sales performance, revenue growth, profitability, and market share achievement.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Provide strong leadership, coaching, and direction to Sales Managers, Supervisors, and Sales Consultants.
  • Monitor daily sales activities, pipeline movement, customer follow-up, conversion rates, and team productivity.
  • Ensure strong discipline in sales processes, CRM usage, prospecting, test drives, closing, and customer handling.
  • Work closely with branch leaders to improve showroom performance and customer experience.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategy, and customer behavior.
  • Build a high-performance sales culture with strong accountability, urgency, and teamwork.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, corporate clients, leasing partners, and other business networks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 3–5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
  • Strong background in premium, luxury, or high-value automotive brands is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and leading sales growth.
  • Experienced in managing multiple branches, sales teams, or dealer operations.
  • Strong hands-on leadership style with the ability to work closely with the team on the ground.
  • Excellent business acumen, sales strategy, negotiation, and people management skills.
  • Strong understanding of dealer sales operations, customer journey, CRM, and sales funnel management.
  • Target-oriented, resilient, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership presence.
