As we expand across Indonesia and international markets, we are looking for a driven and strategic General Manager (Sales) to lead our commercial growth.
Your role as General Manager (Sales) will be responsible for leading our sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and managing both B2B and B2C channels. This role requires a strong commercial mindset, leadership capability, and the ability to execute across multiple markets and channels.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of leadership position in sales, preferably in FMCG, F&B, or consumer goods
- Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Experience managing key accounts and distribution networks
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Based in Jakarta and willing to travel when required
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Growth
- Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies
- Drive revenue growth across all channels (Retail, Enterprise, HoReCa, Export)
- Identify new business opportunities and market expansion plans
- Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Identify and select potential distributors within Indonesia and abroad.
Team Leadership and Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the commercial and logistics team across Indonesia
- Build a high-performance sales culture with clear accountability
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions
- Collaborate with Impact, marketing, finance and operations teams
Key Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients (retail chains, distributors, corporate partners)
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and long-term partnerships
- Oversee major accounts and ensure high customer satisfaction
Channel Development
- Strengthen presence in: modern trade & retail, corporate & gifting, food service (cafés, hotels, restaurants), and E-commerce & marketplace platforms
- Expand export opportunities in regional and global markets
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
- Analyse sales performance and market trends
- Ensure efficient sales processes and CRM usage
- Work closely with supply chain to align demand planning
