Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a well-established textile manufacturing company for a General Manager Production position based in Subang, West Java.
We're looking for an experienced production leader who has a strong background in textile manufacturing, with expertise in wet processing, continuous dyeing, color matching, operational excellence, cost optimization, quality management, and EHS compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee daily and monthly production plans to achieve On-Time In-Full (OTIF) targets.
- Optimize plant capacity and machine utilization through Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) monitoring.
- Ensure product quality meets both local and export buyer standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen while reducing defect rates and production waste.
- Conduct root cause analysis to resolve production issues, including shade variation and yield improvement.
- Manage plant OPEX, including energy consumption (electricity, steam/boiler), chemical and dye usage, and labor costs.
- Improve raw material utilization to minimize scrap and material loss.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (EHS/K3) regulations and oversee Wastewater Treatment Plant (ETP/IPAL) operations in accordance with Indonesian environmental regulations.
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams, including Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, and Operators.
- Maintain positive industrial relations and ensure compliance with Indonesian labor regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the textile manufacturing industry.
- Minimum 8 years in a senior leadership position such as Plant Manager, Production Director, or General Manager Production.
- Strong understanding of wet processing, continuous dyeing, color matching, and spectrophotometer.
- Hands-on experience with textile ERP systems.
- Proven leadership in driving operational excellence, production efficiency, quality improvement, and cost optimization.
