The Company

Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) is a global hospitality company with a long-standing reputation for brand stewardship, disciplined growth, and a distinct approach to guest experience anchored in care and service. The company traces its origins to 1957, when entrepreneur Jay Pritzker acquired the Hyatt House motel near Los Angeles International Airport. Over the following decades, Jay and his brother Donald Pritzker expanded the business into a diversified hospitality platform, establishing Hyatt as a leader in hotel management, ownership, and development across North America and, ultimately, globally.

As of December 31, 2025, Hyatt's global portfolio includes more than 1,528 hotels and all-inclusive properties across over 80 countries and six continents, representing approximately 372,000 rooms. The company generated approximately $6.7 billion in revenue in 2025, with a business model increasingly driven by fee-based earnings streams from managed and franchised properties.

Hyatt's brand portfolio has expanded meaningfully over the past decade through both organic development and targeted acquisitions. The company now spans more than 30 brands organized across five portfolios: Luxury, Lifestyle, Inclusive, Classics, and Essentials. Notable brands include Park Hyatt, Alila, Andaz, Thompson Hotels, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, and Hyatt Ziva and Zilara within the all-inclusive segment.

Strategically, Hyatt is focused on serving the high-end traveler, with a portfolio weighted toward luxury and upper-upscale segments that have demonstrated sustained demand and pricing resilience. The company has been intentional in expanding its presence in resort, lifestyle, and all-inclusive categories, further strengthening its position in leisure travel and experience-driven hospitality.

Hyatt's growth strategy is underpinned by a combination of disciplined development and an expanding global pipeline, with approximately 148,000 rooms in development, representing a company record. The business continues to deliver strong net rooms growth, supported by both new unit expansion and conversion opportunities across markets where Hyatt remains underpenetrated.

At the same time, Hyatt has been executing a multi-year transformation toward an asset-light model, with a target of approximately 90% of earnings derived from fee-based businesses. This shift has been supported by significant asset sales and capital recycling, enabling the company to reinvest in higher-return growth opportunities while enhancing the durability and predictability of earnings.

Hyatt's loyalty platform, World of Hyatt, with more than 60 million members, is a critical driver of customer engagement and repeat business, supporting direct booking channels and strengthening relationships with both leisure and business travelers. The company continues to invest in digital capabilities, distribution, and brand development to support long-term growth.

The company's strategy is focused on Elevating Brands, Talent and Technology and strives to be the most responsive, innovative and highest performing hospitality company in the industry.
