Role Description The Furniture Engineering Drafter is a full-time, on-site role located in Mojosongo. This role involves preparing detailed construction drawings and technical documentation for indoor and outdoor furniture, ensuring designs are accurate, manufacturable, and aligned with company standards. The drafter will collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to refine furniture concepts, specify materials, and optimize joinery and assembly details. Daily tasks include converting design ideas into precise CAD drawings, updating technical files, and supporting space planning and layout requirements for production and packing. The role also includes coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure that all engineering drawings meet safety, durability, and efficiency requirements.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Architecture and Interior Design principles relevant to furniture and layout planning.
- Ability to create and interpret Construction Drawings for furniture manufacturing.
- Competence in Space Planning and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) coordination.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other drafting tools commonly used in furniture engineering.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to translate design concepts into practical technical solutions.
- Experience in furniture manufacturing or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Mojosongo and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
