About the Role
We are looking for a Senior AI-Native Full-Stack Engineer to join our engineering team and build scalable, high-quality software across the backend and frontend.
This role is backend-focused, with strong ownership across Node.js, Express, React, and TypeScript. You will work on large and complex codebases, improve architecture and scalability, and play a key role in building the server-side infrastructure required for AI integrations.
We are looking for someone who is not only experienced in traditional software engineering but also works effectively with modern AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude as part of their daily development workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js, Express, and TypeScript.
- Build and maintain modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Design and implement AI integrations and server-side AI infrastructure, including the backend systems that support AI-powered products and workflows.
- Work with large and complex codebases, identifying architectural improvements and opportunities to improve scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Design and implement scalable software architecture across backend and frontend systems.
- Set up and maintain automated testing frameworks and environments to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Collaborate across engineering and product functions to take technical problems from A → B with minimal supervision.
- Leverage Cursor, Claude, and other AI coding tools as part of the day-to-day software development workflow.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and proactively identify opportunities for engineering improvements.
- Contribute to engineering standards, development practices, and overall system reliability.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in full-stack software engineering, with a strong focus on backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Express, React, and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, APIs, system design, and scalable software development.
- Proven experience working with large-scale or highly complex codebases.
- Strong experience setting up and maintaining automated testing frameworks and environments.
- Hands-on experience implementing AI integrations, particularly the server-side/backend infrastructure behind AI functionality.
- Comfortable working across multiple technologies and adapting to new technical environments.
- Strong experience with modern software engineering practices and development workflows.
- Daily or frequent hands-on experience with Cursor, Claude, or other AI coding tools.
- Highly autonomous and able to take ownership of problems and deliver solutions without extensive hand-holding.
- Excellent English communication skills (9/10 level preferred).
- Able to work full EU working hours.
