Role Description The Full-Time Secondary Chemistry Tutor will provide on-site tutoring at Kelapa Gading for secondary-level students following international curriculums such as IB and Cambridge. Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging Chemistry lessons, clarifying complex concepts in Physical Chemistry, supporting exam preparation, and aligning instruction with curriculum standards. The tutor will monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies based on individual learning needs. Additional tasks include maintaining lesson records, communicating regularly with parents or guardians when appropriate, and collaborating with the center's team to enhance overall academic support. While the role is primarily on-site, the tutor may occasionally conduct online tutoring sessions as needed.
Qualifications

• Strong subject-matter expertise in Chemistry, including proficiency in Physical Chemistry at the secondary level.
• Ability to teach supporting Mathematics concepts relevant to international secondary Chemistry curricula.
• Effective Communication skills for explaining complex ideas clearly and interacting professionally with students and families.
• Capability to deliver instruction both through on-site teaching and Online Tutoring platforms when required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Education, or a closely related field.
• Experience teaching or tutoring students in IB, Cambridge, or other international programs is highly beneficial.
• Strong classroom management, patience, and a learner-centered approach to support diverse student needs.
• Fluency in English for academic instruction; proficiency in Indonesian is an advantage.
