Full Stack Engineer

We're currently partnering with a well- established international education and research institution on a high-impact digital platform, and we're looking for hands-on Senior Fullstack Developers who love being in the code.

This is a long-term opportunity (initial project duration of 12 months, subject to extension) for engineers who want to build scalable systems while working closely with global stakeholders.

What you'll be doing:

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Python and Django.
• Build and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and backend systems.
• Architect, deploy, and optimise cloud solutions on AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, and other AWS services).
• Collaborate with frontend developers and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code through unit and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve production applications.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in fullstack or backend software development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python and Django, including ORM, REST APIs, and middleware.
• Solid experience designing and building solutions on AWS beyond simple deployments.
• Proven track record developing and maintaining production-grade applications.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to work directly with stakeholders.
• Comfortable working as a hands-on individual contributor in a remote environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Exposure to microservices or event-driven architectures.
• Experience collaborating with international or distributed teams.
