A Flexible Flowline Engineer will hold an honours degree in Mechanical or Civil or Structural or Subsea Engineering from University. The degree must contain a thorough grounding in the theory and techniques of structural engineering.
Min 10 years working experience in area production facility (subsea) in flexible flowline and riser engineering, construction and Installation, the experience gained shall be in a similar role and the candidate shall have a strong construction engineering background and have demonstrable yard leadership skills.
Experience of relative design methodologies, construction activities, installation activities and associated analysis
Considerable experience of relevant Flexible flowline design or installation experience.
Experience in engineering principles to offshore flexible flowline design and installation problems. Such problems will include but are not be limited to: flexible flowline installation by reeling; pipe spooling problems; installation analysis; thermal design; on bottom stability and roughness design.
Experience with Flexible Flowline codes and relevant standards of practice.
Experience in use of FE software such as Orcaflex, Abaqus and Ansys
Experience of design and who have worked for or with a major Operator
