In August 2020, PasarPolis completed a US$54 million Series B funding round, which is considered the largest Series B funding recorded for an insurtech firm in Southeast Asia, and potentially it is also the biggest disclosed investment round for insurtech firms in the region. The round included participation from LeapFrog Investments, SBI Investment, Alpha JWC, Intudo Ventures, Go-Ventures and Xiaomi Ventures and will be used to support the companys growth plan. In February 2021, PasarPolis secured US$5 million funding from World Banks sister organization International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Job Description

• Development offrontendservices and taking responsibility for scalability and reliability ofthem.
• Translate and drive technology vision into action and world class product, as well asconstantly solve problems and set strategy for our existing products as well as futureproduct ideas.
• You are also expected to share knowledge to other engineers.
• Drive the business and help drive and focus execution in line with our core objectives.
• Work closely with QA Engineers for immediate bugs/issues resolution.
• Explore new techniques, technologies and software development approaches to improvethe existing system to keep up with the latest trend in software development

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

1-3 years of experience in software engineering/development and building Web Services

Experienced in JavaScript + ReactJS

Good understanding of React/Angular, and Webpack

Familiar with application life cycle management tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket/Git, etc andalso CI/CD tooling.

Familiar with Agile Software Development and SCRUM.
