Job Description
- Oversee transportation resources, customer service, and shipment scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with transportation providers, handling negotiations and performance monitoring.
- Coordinate with air, ocean, and ground vendors to support schedule planning and address operational challenges.
- Track and evaluate vendor performance metrics, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and manage master schedules to optimize workforce, equipment, and material utilization.
The Successful Applicant
- At least 9 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or similar industries.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant technical tools.
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Transport Management or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee complex logistics operations and build strong vendor relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a talent for handling complexity and driving innovation.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Indonesian.
- Proven experience in leading or contributing to logistics transformation projects.
