We are pleased to announce an opening for the position of Freight Officer based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

Registering OCA and GVA rate agreement to TMS

Compiling SRA updated accordance to TMS filing to GVA TMS Manager

Obtained SCT code to respective PIC at SIN Regional office

Registering SCT Code to GVA Data Center for TMS filing purpose

Liaise with CS Dept in charge to obtain TMS client code

Monitoring and checked manifested rate to be in line with TMS as checker for all Indonesia ports

Follow up any different rate between TMS and SRA to destination agent

Follow up any inquiry from MSC GVA TMS Manager for Indonesia ports

Responsible for the TMS implementation from all POL in Indonesia

Rate filing (SRA) and keep record in share folder

Freight rate confirmation with destination control offices

Retrieve and input the freight for Manifest purpose into system

Double checked the Freight that not found by CS when they process the booking

Manifesting corrector for any rate and payment term revision request from agent or customer

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree from reputable college.
  • Required language(s): English
  • At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Required Skill(s):
  • Strong communication in English both written and verbal.,
  • Accurate, fast learner, discipline and hard working person,
  • Analytical mind-set,
  • Self-motivated and able to work in team
  • Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor) specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
