PT Global Freight Semesta is an established international freight forwarding company incorporated in 1999, with our head office in Jakarta and branch offices in Surabaya, Bandung, Semarang, and Medan. With over 25 years of industry experience, we provide comprehensive logistics solutions to importers and exporters across Indonesia.
We are currently seeking qualified, energetic, and result-driven individuals to join our Jakarta head office as Marketing Sales Executive.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively develop and manage a portfolio of import/export clients through networking and direct sales activities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across ocean freight for Export & Import
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines and customers
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, client meetings, quotations, negotiations, and closing
- Work closely with internal operations teams to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall company growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the freight forwarding or shipping industry, focusing on ocean freight
- Existing network of importers/exporters or logistics clients in Indonesia is highly desirable
Key Requirements
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Confident in meeting clients from small, medium, and large companies
- Willing to travel locally for client meetings when required
