As a Freight & E-Commerce Logistics Coordinator, you will manage the entire logistics lifecycle from China US warehouses final delivery to customers.
This role demands speed, precision, strong analytical skills, and an obsession with cost efficiency and on-time performance. You will ensure that our products move fast, cost-efficiently, and with zero errors across all freight and e-commerce channels.
What You'll Do
Daily Responsibilities (High Workload & Fast-Paced)
- Coordinate 510 international shipments per day (DDP, FCL, LCL, Air Freight).
- Manage communication with 1015 freight forwarders to compare quotes, transit times, and service levels.
- Track cargo movement from factory port customs warehouse with hourly status updates.
- Update and maintain shipment dashboards with 100% accuracy (ETA, ETD, tracking, delays, demurrage, detention).
- Solve daily shipment issues: customs holds, documentation errors, misloads, and cargo rollovers.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (CI, PL, BL, HS codes, ISF, AMS, duty calculations).
- Coordinate with suppliers in China regarding packaging, labeling, palletization, and loading requirements.
- Monitor e-commerce order flow across marketplaces and 3PL warehouses.
- Ensure same-day or next-day dispatch for all customer orders.
- Communicate with US warehouses to fix pick/pack issues, replenishment, and inventory discrepancies.
- Conduct daily inventory reconciliation to ensure stock accuracy.
- Generate cost analysis for freight, warehousing, and last-mile to optimize margins.
Weekly Responsibilities
- Analyze freight cost trends and negotiate pricing with 58 logistics partners weekly.
- Audit warehouse performance (handling time, packing accuracy, damage rate, labor cost).
- Push continuous improvement initiatives to reduce logistics cost by 37% weekly.
- Coordinate 1020 inbound shipments from factories to ports.
- Conduct marketplace SLA performance reviews (on-time delivery rate, cancellation rate, inbound damage rate).
Monthly Responsibilities
- Manage 80120 international freight shipments end-to-end.
- Reduce total logistics spend by identifying unnecessary fees, optimizing carrier mix, and improving packaging.
- Work with the product and sourcing teams to optimize packaging to reduce dimensional weight (DHL/UPS/FedEx).
- Present monthly logistics performance dashboards directly to CEO (cost, efficiency, bottlenecks).
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related fields
- 14 years experience in freight, logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce operations (preferred: ChinaUS routes)
- Fluent English is required; Mandarin proficiency (spoken & written) is strongly preferred
- Excellent understanding of international shipping (FCL, LCL, DDP, FOB, EXW).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong skills with advanced Excel/Sheets capability is preferred
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with high workloads & tight deadlines
- Experience with 3PL, WMS, marketplace shipping systems, or freight software is a plus
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure, data-driven environments
