Job Description

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Dates: 12 – 16 Oct 2026

Schedule: 5 days | 4 hours daily

Language: English

Training Fee: 625 USD (total for the full 5 days)

Cambridge for Global Training is seeking an experienced freelance trainer to deliver an executive-level professional development course titled Procurement Processes and Bid Assessment in Jakarta.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Procurement Processes and Bid Assessment course in line with the approved curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Coordinate all course-related activities with Cambridge for Global Training.
  • Receive and manage shipped training kit, documentation, or equipment.
  • Prepare, customise, and update training materials, presentations, case studies, and practical exercises.
  • Ensure high-quality course delivery in line with professional and executive training standards.
  • Facilitate interactive discussions, practical case studies, and real-world applications.
  • Maintain effective session flow, time management, and participant engagement throughout the programme.

Course Coverage Requirements

The trainer must be able to confidently deliver all course units, including:

  • Unit 1: Introduction to Procurement: Overview of procurement process, procurement objectives and principles, types of procurement methods, and procurement regulations and compliance.
  • Unit 2: Sourcing and Tendering: Sourcing strategies and supplier selection, tendering procedures and documentation, evaluation criteria and scoring methods, and bid submission and opening process.
  • Unit 3: Bid Evaluation Techniques: Bid evaluation process and principles, evaluation criteria and weightings, financial and non-financial evaluation factors, and risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Unit 4: Contract Management: Contract formation and types of contracts, contract negotiation and award, contract administration and performance monitoring, and contract closeout and evaluation.
  • Unit 5: Supplier Relationship Management: Supplier selection and qualification, supplier performance measurement and evaluation, supplier development and collaboration, and managing supplier disputes and conflicts.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in procurement, supply chain management, contract administration, or corporate training.
  • Proven experience delivering procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or executive performance training programmes previously.
  • Strong knowledge of modern procurement frameworks, tendering procedures, and bid evaluation techniques.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Experience delivering executive-level or corporate training programmes to procurement managers, purchasing officers, contract managers, supply chain professionals, and project teams.

Preferred Profile

  • Background in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or Commerce.
  • Practical experience implementing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, or overseeing complex bidding processes within organizations.
  • Availability to be physically present in Jakarta during the course dates (12 – 16 Oct 2026).
