Job Description
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or additional certifications in process safety or project management can be advantageous
- 10 years of experience in process safety engineering within the offshore oil and gas industry and Familiarity with risk assessment and management for offshore structures
- Experience with safety analysis techniques such as HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, and SIL
- Experience with safety standards and guidelines (e.g., API, OSHA, ISO) related to FPU projects
- Experience in safety studies and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Experience in developing and implementing process safety management systems
