Description
As an FP&A Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Analysing financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business strategy.
- Building comprehensive financial models from scratch to support strategic initiatives.
- Preparing management reports and presenting financial performance to senior leadership.
- Acting as a finance business partner and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Evaluating expansion plans, investments, and other business growth opportunities.
- Identifying opportunities to improve profitability, manage costs, and drive revenue growth.
- Translating large and complex datasets into clear recommendations for decision-makers.
Profile
A Successful FP&A Manager Should Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or financial analysis within a startup or growth stage and fast-paced business environment.
- Retail and FMCG background is a must. Prior Big 4 experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large and complex datasets.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting, including building 3-way financial statements from scratch.
- The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with senior leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other relevant financial systems and tools.
