Forward Deployed Engineer

High Five is hiring on behalf of Our Client - they build and deploy production-grade AI sales agents for businesses in Southeast Asia. These agents handle real customer conversations on WhatsApp and Instagram: answering questions, recommending products, creating bookings, processing payments, and following up automatically. They don't just answer FAQs. They execute full sales and service workflows, end-to-end, inside the chat.

Ideal profile

• Someone who can execute clearly scoped implementations reliably.
• Works from a well-defined spec.
• Raises flags when something is underspecified rather than making silent behavioral assumptions.
• Reviews Junior FDE output and catches implementation errors.

Key responsibilities:

• Builds AI agent flows, prompt logic, routing, integrations, and tool wiring from CSL specs
• Reviews PRs and implementation output from junior or intern-level FDEs on SME accounts
• Runs internal technical testing before handing off to CSL for QA Flags spec gaps or contradictions before building — does not make silent behavioral assumptions
• Implements fixes post-QA for issues classified as implementation-level (not redesign)
• Maintains deployment stability and monitors for technical failure modes post-launch

Requirements:

• Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Strong technical generalist (Typescript)
• Proven experiences working with Clients or product experience
• Fluency in English.
• Great communicator who thrives in customer-facing settings
• Bias toward action - you love solving real problems and shipping fast
