Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Forging Engineer to support and enhance our forging operations. This role is responsible for developing efficient forging processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement across production lines. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with practical shop-floor experience to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and support new product introduction in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Key Responsibility

  • Develop, design, and optimize forging processes to ensure high-quality and cost-efficient production
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including process specifications, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
  • Lead die/mold trials, commissioning, maintenance, and continuous performance improvement initiatives
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues related to forging processes, equipment, and product quality in a timely manner
  • support new product introduction (NPI), including process validation and smooth transition into mass production
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, increase yield, and reduce manufacturing costs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams to achieve operational excellence

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in forging or metal forming processes
  • Strong knowledge of forging techniques, materials behavior, and related equipment
  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings and independently developing manufacturing process
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach on the shop floor
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Experience in automotive parts forging is highly preferred
