Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Local English Teacher at TBI - The British Institute located in Kelapa Gading. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for conducting English lessons, creating lesson plans, facilitating educational activities, and promoting effective communication among students. You will play a vital role in empowering students to ask insightful questions and explore disciplinary boundaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Native or near-native proficiency in English (at least CEFR C1 or Band 7 or 8 in IELTS) with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience in teaching English to non-native speakers.
• Lesson planning and teaching skills.
• Familiarity with Cambridge Curriculum and its application in different language levels.
• Ability to engage and motivate students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to keep track of multiple tasks and duties with tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative team-oriented setting.
• Willingness to learn and implement new teaching strategies and technologies.
• Certificate in teaching English as a foreign language (GITE, CELTA, TESOL or TEFL), or relevant teaching certification is preferred.
