Provide effective solutions to design and construction challenges by applying a strong understanding of materials, mold construction, and manufacturing processes.
Manage 2D/3D sole geometry and related molds, and contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, enhance timeline efficiency, and drive innovation within footwear development.
Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and cross-functional teams to support product development and resolve mold-related issues.
Serve as the primary contact between the development center and headquarters for all mold-related topics.
Oversee and explain the 3D component creation process from concept (initial stage) to mass production.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tooling or Bottom Mold Engineer in the footwear industry.
Strong knowledge of mold construction and production processes.
Proficient in 2D/3D design software, especially Rhino.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Team player with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively across departments.
