Job Description:
As a Footwear Designer, you will be responsible for creating and visualizing new footwear concepts, models, and prototypes through advanced design software. You will collaborate with the design, development, and production teams to ensure that the designs are both functional and visually appealing, meeting the company's high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze global fashion and market trends regularly through online platforms and social media.
- Create innovation sketches and transform them into 2D and 3D design concepts.
- Develop prototype from designs and refine them based on feedback.
- Select appropriate colors, leather and other materials to ensure high quality finishes.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure the feasibility and manufacturability of designs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and new software tools.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance product designs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Footwear Designer
- Strong proficiency in designing software.
- Knowledge of footwear construction and materials.
- Experience with designing software and digital prototyping tools.
- A creative eye with strong attention to detail and the ability to translate concepts into realistic models.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design.
- Familiarity with footwear manufacturing processes and technologies.
