Position : Foodservice Category Manager
Location : Jakarta
Responsibilities : This role will be responsible for driving category growth through strategic portfolio management, supplier partnerships, commercial planning, and strong execution across multiple retail sites.
- Develop and execute foodservice category strategy and growth initiatives
- Manage food & beverage portfolio including beverages, ready-to-eat meals, bakery, and hot food
- Drive product innovation, category optimization, and commercial performance
- Execute marketing plans, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
- Build and manage strategic supplier and brand partnerships
- Monitor sales, margins, customer insights, and operational performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, supply chain, and regional teams
- Ensure strong on-site execution and customer experience across retail locations
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, and contract management
- Identify market trends and growth opportunities to strengthen category competitiveness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree from reputable university
- Proven experience in: Foodservice, Convenience retail, QSR or FMCG category management
- Strong experience in category strategy, portfolio management, and supplier management
- Strong analytical capability with experience in sales performance analysis, category planning, and portfolio optimization.
- Experience in convenience retail, foodservice operations, or multi-site retail environments will be an advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Experience in multi-site retail or foodservice operations is an advantage
