Job ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Governance Leadership
- Develop and implement regional Quality & Food Safety (QFS) strategies, governance frameworks, and annual operating plans aligned with global standards.
- Lead regional QFS governance, KPI monitoring, and standardization of quality systems and operational practices across all sites.
- Ensure effective implementation and compliance of QMS/FSMS, certifications, internal policies, and regulatory requirements across SSEA operations.
Digital Quality & Modernization
- Lead the implementation of digital QMS/FSMS initiatives, including LIMS, SPC, real-time monitoring systems, and digital reporting dashboards.
- Oversee data integrity, analytics capability, and digital quality maturity across factories, OEMs, and toll manufacturing partners.
- Drive adoption of advanced QFS technologies and global best practices to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
Risk, Crisis & Regulatory Management
- Lead regional crisis management and product recall frameworks to ensure operational readiness and effective cross-functional coordination.
- Monitor regulatory changes, evaluate business impact, and ensure timely compliance implementation.
- Act as regional liaison with regulatory authorities, including inspections and external regulatory engagements.
OEM, Toller & Supplier Governance
- Establish and manage regional OEM and toller QFS governance frameworks covering risk assessment, certification compliance, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Lead annual OEM/toller audit programs, corrective action follow-up, and escalation management.
- Strengthen supplier quality performance in collaboration with Procurement and Operations teams.
Regional Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Lead regional QFS audits across manufacturing sites, warehouses, OEMs, and tollers, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce complaints, incidents, and non-conformities through root cause analysis and preventive systems.
- Promote a strong quality culture and customer-focused mindset across regional operations.
- Oversee regional laboratory operations and validation programs to ensure data reliability, operational efficiency, and SHE compliance.
- Manage regional QFS budgets, OPEX, and CAPEX initiatives, including business case preparation and value realization.
- Support new projects and R&D initiatives by integrating QFS risk prevention and management strategies.
Leadership & People Development
- Build organizational capability through coaching, structured training programs, and capability development initiatives for QFS teams.
- Lead talent development, succession planning, and competency framework implementation within the regional QFS organization.
- Set team objectives, allocate resources, monitor performance, and foster a collaborative high-performance culture.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Quality & Food Safety management within agro-industry environments.
- Solid understanding of compliance management, regulatory interpretation, hazard analysis, vulnerability assessment, and risk management.
- Hands-on experience with Digital QFS systems including Digital QMS, LIMS, SPC, and analytics platforms.
- Proven experience in project quality management, continuous improvement, action planning, assessment, and performance reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in Quality within agro-industry sectors.
- Experience from multinational companies is preferred; candidates from reputable national companies are also welcome.
- Fluent English communication is mandatory.
