Bentani Hotel & Residence As We Expand & Grow

Bentani Hotel & Residence is entering a new phase of expansion and growth. We are strengthening our F&B ecosystem with upgraded outlets, improved concepts, and a more data-driven operation. The Food & Beverage Manager plays a key leadership role in driving this transformation.

1. Operational Leadership

Oversee daily operations for all F&B outlets (restaurants, bar, deli, room service, banquet).

Maintain top service standards, SOP accuracy, and guest satisfaction.

Ensure hygiene & sanitation standards follow HACCP and hotel regulations.

Supervise outlet leaders, captains, and service staff to ensure smooth flow of service.

2. Financial & Performance Management

Manage F&B budgets, cost control, and profitability targets.

Monitor daily/weekly/monthly outlet performance and implement improvements.

Control food cost, beverage cost, portioning, and wastage.

Support menu engineering and upselling strategies to maximize revenue.

3. Menu Development & Concept Innovation

Collaborate with Executive Chef on menu creation and seasonal promotions.

Maintain consistency in quality, plating, and recipe costing.

Support concept development for Bentani's expansion into a stronger boutique hotel identity.

4. Guest Experience & Service Excellence

Handle guest feedback professionally across all channels.

Build a service culture that is warm, consistent, and guest-focused.

Support inter-department teamwork for seamless guest experiences.

5. Team Development & HR Coordination

Recruit, train, and develop F&B team members.

Conduct regular briefings, skills training, and performance reviews.

Coordinate with HR for manpower planning and trainees.

6. Sales, Marketing & Promotion Support

Work with Sales & Marketing to create and execute F&B promotions.

Support content creation, plating aesthetics, special menus, and events.

Strengthen branding for Yanagi, Arirang, Grizzly, Ben Deli, and Banquet.

7. Banquet & Event Management

Ensure flawless execution of weddings, meetings, and corporate events.

Review BEOs and supervise event setup, service, and closing.

Monitor banquet profitability and cost structures.

8. Inventory, Systems & Reporting

Bentani is improving its digital operational system, so system proficiency is essential.

Must be able to work with:

Power Pro

VHP

Opera / PMS

General POS systems and reporting tools

Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate data input for daily sales, postings, and transfers.

Oversee stock movement, PR processes, and FIFO systems.

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly F&B reports for General Manager.

9. Compliance & Safety

Maintain SOPs for food safety, hygiene, and storage.

Ensure team follows hotel safety and emergency procedures.

Coordinate with Engineering for equipment and facility issues.

10. Strategic Role in Bentani's Growth

As Bentani grows, the F&B Manager must contribute strategically by:

Proposing new concepts, improving outlet performance, and increasing revenue.

Leading innovation for menus, promotions, and dining experiences.

Building a stronger F&B brand aligned with Bentani's boutique-executive identity.

11. Language Requirement

To support Bentani's growing international guests and corporate clients, the F&B Manager must be:

Fluent in English and Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia).

Additional languages are a strong advantage, especially:

Chinese (Mandarin)

Japanese / Korean (bonus)

Any other foreign language relevant to hotel clientele

This enhances communication with guests, suppliers, and partners as Bentani expands.
