We are looking for Food & Beverage Manager for our Melia Makassar (Indonesia).
Mission
Food & Beverage Manager will direct the food and beverage operations of the hotel to ensure the achievement of established food and beverage quality and guest service quality standards and departmental revenue and profit goals. Ensure policy compliance, support the Company's initiatives, and promote a positive culture.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the food and beverage operations of the hotel to ensure the achievement of established food and beverage quality and guest service quality standards and departmental revenue and profit goals.
- Supervises the functioning of all Food and Beverage employees, facilities, sales and costs, to ensure maximum departmental profit is achieved
- Provide a professional, advisory and executive support service to the General Manager to assist in meeting the strategic goals of the establishment.
- Develop and implement Food and Beverage promotions, strategies and special events in conjunction with the Executive Chef and the Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Liaise with the Executive Chef on menu engineering and portion control, ensuring the highest food standard is achieved whilst selling at the correct prices.
Main Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or related field.
- Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Manager in a 5-star hotel or resort, preferably within an international hotel chain.
- Fluent in Bahasa (Indonesia) and English, both speaking and writing.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information.
- Proven selling skills with the ability to drive business and meet targets
- Local experience is required
