About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Florist to join Housekeeping in Jumeirah Bali. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Complete day-to-day activities following departmental policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery to guests.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental procedures and controls to uphold Jumeirah Group's commitment to providing world-class hospitality services.
• Always maintain sufficient florist supplies to fulfill orders as per requisitions, ensuring availability of items such as ribbons, wires, and wrapping paper.
• Assist Food & Beverage colleagues in preparing special events with appropriate decorations, adhering to the events calendar.
• Set up flower and greenery display according to specific locations, sorting them by size and kind, and maintaining their cleanliness to enhance decorative displays.
• Prepare daily in-house flower request reports to control costs and always ensure proper and sufficient availability of flowers.
• Carefully inspect all received flowers, marking them on invoices, and returning rejected flowers and plants to the wholesaler to maintain quality standards.
• Regularly inspect flower arrangements to ensure they are replenished when needed, maintaining their freshness and appearance.
• Prepare simple flower arrangements, including tying bows, ribbons, and cutting stems to appropriate lengths, ensuring they meet aesthetic standards.
• Perform any related tasks and duties assigned by management, demonstrating responsibility and flexibility in carrying out assigned responsibilities.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Experience as a Florist equivalent role in a 5-star hotel/luxury property.
• 1 -2 years of experience in floral designs in a luxury environment
• Proficiency in spoken and written business English.
