Position Introductory:
Responsible for preparing, compounding, and blending tobacco flavor formulations according to approved recipes and specifications, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately weigh, measure, and compound flavor ingredients based on approved formulations.
- Prepare tobacco flavor blends for product development, trials, and commercial production.
- Maintain confidentiality of flavor formulas and proprietary information.
- Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished flavor compounds to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Record batch production data, ingredient usage, and inventory transactions accurately.
- Monitor and maintain flavor compounding equipment and ensure proper calibration.
- Support R&D activities by preparing samples for product development and evaluation.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and company policies.
- Coordinate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to ensure timely delivery of flavor compounds.
- Assist in troubleshooting flavor-related issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage flavor ingredient inventory and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment in the flavor laboratory and compounding area.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in flavor compounding, preferably in the tobacco, food, beverage, or fragrance industry.
- Knowledge of flavor raw materials, blending techniques, and laboratory practices.
- Familiarity with GMP, safety standards, and quality management systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential formulation information.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.

- Understanding of tobacco flavor profiles and flavor development processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in weighing and blending ingredients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with flavor formulation software and laboratory equipment is an advantage
