Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fit Out Staff role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Fit Out Staff will assist in the execution of interior fit-out works, including preparation, installation, and finishing tasks for walls, ceilings, flooring, partitions, and built-in furniture. The role involves reading and following drawings and instructions, coordinating with supervisors and other team members, and ensuring that work meets quality, safety, and schedule requirements. Daily responsibilities include handling materials and tools, supporting site measurements, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and reporting progress or issues to the site supervisor. The Fit Out Staff will also support troubleshooting on-site, help implement design changes, and collaborate with subcontractors and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience in interior fit-out, construction, or related site work, including basic knowledge of installation and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings, layouts, and work instructions.
- Familiarity with common hand tools and power tools used in fit-out work, and understanding of safe handling practices.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on quality, accuracy of measurements, and neat finishing.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow directions and coordinate with supervisors and colleagues.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, stand for extended periods, and handle materials safely.
- Willingness to work on-site in Jakarta and adhere to company safety, cleanliness, and discipline standards.
- Previous experience in construction or interior projects is preferred; vocational training or relevant certification in building or interior works is an advantage.
