Finishing Manager

Qualification:

• Minimum Diploma Degree (D3) in Industrial Engineering / Wood Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the furniture industry, with experience as a Finishing Supervisor or Finishing Manager.
• Strong understanding of finishing processes for solid wood, veneer, MDF, plywood, rattan, and other combined materials.
• Proficient in finishing systems and application techniques
• Good understanding of finishing chemicals characteristics and safe handling standards.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
• Experienced in managing manpower, production targets, material efficiency, and finishing quality results.
• Strong understanding of finishing quality standards.
• Highly motivated and committed to achieving work targets and deadlines.
• Strong personality with good authority, firmness, and professional integrity.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all finishing department operations.
• Ensure finishing quality meets company standards and customer requirements.
• Monitor productivity, material consumption, and production costs.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve finishing processes and standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop the finishing team to achieve operational excellence.
• Analyze and resolve finishing-related quality issues and customer complaints.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Quality Control, Engineering, and PPIC departments to ensure smooth production flow.
