The company operates through a highly efficient value-retail business model and continues to strengthen its finance organization to support rapid business growth.
The Financial Reporting Assistant Manager will support financial reporting and daily finance operations across multiple entities within the organization. This role requires a detail-oriented and hands-on finance professional who is capable of handling operational reporting activities in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate should be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working closely with multiple stakeholders within a multinational setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and support timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Assist in consolidation and reporting across multiple entities/business units.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and reporting schedules.
- Support month-end closing and reconciliation activities.
- Maintain and improve reporting processes and reporting controls.
- Coordinate with accounting and operational teams to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Assist in audit preparation and provide supporting financial documentation when required.
- Support financial analysis and management reporting activities.
- Monitor reporting timelines and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
- Participate in finance improvement initiatives and reporting automation projects.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from a reputable university.
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit.
- Experience from multinational companies is preferred.
- Prior exposure to retail, FMCG, consumer goods, manufacturing, or distribution industries is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting processes.
- Comfortable handling day-to-day finance operations.
- Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
- Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
