About the Role
As a Financial Planning Analyst, you are responsible to support key financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities across the organization. This role plays a critical part in providing data-driven insights to senior management and enabling well-informed business decisions. The ideal candidate has strong financial modeling skills, business acumen, and experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead or assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans in collaboration with business units.
- Develop financial models to evaluate business performance, scenario planning, investment opportunities, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Prepare and present monthly/quarterly management reports, variance analysis (vs. budget, forecast, prior year), and key financial KPIs.
- Act as a finance partner to functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations), supporting strategic and operational decision-making.
- Analyze revenue trends, cost drivers, margin fluctuations, and operational efficiency to identify risks and opportunities.
- Provide financial insights and materials for board meetings, investor updates, and executive presentations.
- Support FP&A process enhancements, system implementations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights), and automation initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 25 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance roles, preferably in F&B or retail sector.
- Strong command of Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and planning tools is a plus.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets, synthesize findings, and communicate effectively to stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial and operational metrics.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
