Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, close management, controls, and compliance for US-based companies. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can operate at both a strategic and detailed level.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations across GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, and close
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
• Ensure financial reporting is accurate and compliant with US GAAP
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and close procedures
• Coordinate audits and manage relationships with external auditors
• Lead accounting system implementations, migrations, and automation initiatives
• Review, mentor, and support accounting team members
• Communicate financial risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience operating as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior Accounting Manager
• Deep understanding of US GAAP
• Proven ownership of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Experience managing audits and external auditors
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent accounting certification
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidations
• Experience with ERP implementations or finance transformation
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or FP&A collaboration
