Job Description

Mazari Group is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function across our luxury villa and hospitality operations in Bali.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting and commercially useful financial insight. You will work closely with the General Manager, Director and operational teams to improve financial performance and support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day accounting and financial operations
  • Prepare and review monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and management reports
  • Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and variance analysis
  • Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability and cash flow
  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and treasury
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of PMS, POS, OTA, payment gateway, bank and accounting systems
  • Oversee revenue control, cost control, purchasing and inventory processes
  • Establish and maintain strong financial controls and approval procedures
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax, statutory and accounting requirements
  • Coordinate external auditors, tax consultants and other financial advisors
  • Lead, develop and supervise the Finance team
  • Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations to improve profitability and operational performance

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Minimum 5 years relevant Finance/Accounting experience
  • Previous experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Chief Accountant or similar senior finance role
  • Hospitality experience strongly preferred, particularly within luxury hotels, resorts or villas
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation and internal controls
  • Good understanding of hospitality revenue and cost structures
  • Strong Excel and financial-system skills
  • Analytical, commercially minded and highly detail-oriented
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Good written and spoken English
