Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational manufacturing company. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a mandarin speaking professional with at least 7 years of finance and accounting experience. The job is based in Subang, West Java, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Establish and lead the finance and accounting function.
- Manage KEK incentives, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Manage accounting operations, month-end/year-end closing, and cost accounting.
- Ensure compliance with PSAK, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, regulators, and KEK authorities.
- Monitor banking relationships, working capital, and cross-border transactions.
- Handle customs and import-related financial processes.
- Develop internal controls, SOPs, and finance policies.
- Implement and manage ERP/accounting systems.
- Support business decisions through financial analysis and insights.
- Coordinate financial reporting with the Chinese parent company and shareholders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certifications such as CPA, CA, or Brevet Tax A & B are highly advantageous.
- 7–10 years of experience in finance and accounting, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is strongly preferred, particularly in industries such as polymers, plastics, chemicals, automotive, FMCG, or related fields.
- Exposure to Indonesia's Special Economic Zones (KEK), Bonded Zones (KB/KITE), or Free Trade Zones is considered a valuable asset.
- Experience working within Chinese-owned or Chinese-invested organizations is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in establishing and developing finance operations from the ground up (greenfield projects) is a significant advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian taxation regulations, PSAK accounting standards, and fiscal/customs regulations relevant to KEK operations.
- Familiarity with BKPM/OSS licensing procedures and compliance requirements set by KEK Administrators.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Accurate, MYOB, or comparable platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Good understanding of importation and customs processes applicable to manufacturing companies operating within KEK environments.
