Role Description The Financial Accounting Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Surabaya. This position is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and reconciling financial statements, managing general ledger entries, and ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing. The role includes monitoring accounts payable and receivable, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. The specialist will work closely with internal teams to clarify financial data, support audits, and provide clear reports and presentations to management for decision-making.
Qualifications

Strong knowledge of financial statements and finance concepts, with the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly.
Well-developed analytical skills to identify trends, variances, and discrepancies in financial records.
Proficiency in accounting software and related tools, and comfortable working with spreadsheets and ERP systems.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA) are an advantage.
Experience in financial accounting or a similar role, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity in handling financial data.
Ability to work on-site in Surabaya, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic business environment.
