About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Finance & Accounting Supervisor to establish and manage all Finance, Accounting, and Tax (FAT) functions in our newly established company. This role will build processes from scratch, ensure compliance, and deliver data-driven insights to support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Finance/Accounting team in inputting daily transactions (AP, AR, petty cash, fleet operations).
- Control fleet travel expenses (travel allowances, fuel, tolls, additional field costs).
- Control bank reconciliations, cash, and accounts receivable/payable balances.
- Control AR & AP aging and follow up on due dates.
- Ensure customer invoices are issued on time and complete with supporting documentation (DO, POD, trip recap).
- Check the completeness of tax documents (VAT, Income Tax, e-invoices, SSP) and ensure compliance.
- Monitor daily cash flow, including truck operational needs.
- Perform stocktaking procedures (part inventory).
- Review daily/weekly reports for the FAT Manager (cash position, outstanding AR, fleet costs, etc.).
- Monitor budget utilization, budget transfers/supplements, and budget compilation (annually).
- Prepare monthly financial reports prior to the FAT Manager's review.
- Follow up on and discuss audit findings with the FAM.
- Responsible for carrying out and completing tasks assigned by superiors related to work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Minimum 5 years in FAT department, or 2 years in Ass. Manager level, or 3-4 years in supervisor of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the transportation industry.
- Brevet A/B certification is not mandatory but will be an advantage.
- Hands-on experience in accounting systems (ERP Program, Advance in Microsoft Excel).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and hands-on professional.
- Can work independently and having a good coordination skill to coordinate with internal & external teams.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
