About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Finance & Accounting Supervisor to establish and manage all Finance, Accounting, and Tax (FAT) functions in our newly established company. This role will build processes from scratch, ensure compliance, and deliver data-driven insights to support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- F&A Infrastructure Design and establish the company's chart of accounts, accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting frameworks.
- Month-End Close Lead the full month-end close process and prepare accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with business KPIs (e.g., cost/mile, trailer utilization).
- Cost Allocation & Billing Develop models to track costs and accurately bill customers for services rendered.
- Compliance Management Prepare and file all required tax returns, including employee income tax, withholding taxes, VAT, and corporate income tax.
- Management Reporting Enhance financial and management reporting to provide insights into profitability by customer, route, and service line.
- Other Core Duties
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll (including driver pay & per diem).
- Oversee cash flow management.
- Maintain fixed asset sub-ledger for trailer fleet, including depreciation and maintenance tracking.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Minimum 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the transportation industry.
- Brevet A/B certification is not mandatory but will be an advantage.
- Hands-on experience in accounting systems (SAP/Oracle/Accurate or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills (Excel-savvy).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and hands-on professional.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
