About You

The Finance Systems Business Partner supports the effective operation and continuous improvement of finance and project systems, ensuring ERP platforms meet month-end, business and compliance requirements. The role bridges Finance, Projects and Technology through system configuration, testing, integration and user support, while applying technical tools to audit and interrogate system data. Working with internal stakeholders and third-party providers, the role helps resolve platform issues, support system upgrades, minimize disruption, and ensure end-to-end financial and policy compliance across Finance and Project systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technical platform (Oracle) requirements for finance month-end processes.
• Configure, test, and integrate ERP platforms to meet evolving business needs.
• Provide timely user support, resolving tickets and escalating issues where necessary.
• Use SQL and other tools to audit, interrogate, and analyze financial systems and databases.
• Contribute to system architecture alignment with company policies and relevant legislation.
• Translate user requirements into solutions, delivering projects to agreed deadlines.
• Partner with third-party support providers to resolve platform issues.
• Minimize outages during upgrades and ensure thorough testing of new releases.
• Support end-to-end business processes across Finance, Projects, and ERP tools, ensuring compliance with financial standards and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, ICT, or related discipline.
• Experience gained within in big four firm will be considered an advantage
• Core accounting knowledge (qualified or part-qualified).
• Experience in project management and business analytics.
• Strong functional business analysis skills, including documentation of processes and workflows.
• Proven track record of partnering with the business to deliver requirements and projects.
• Technical expertise in ERP and finance systems (ORACLE), with strong understanding of system architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and ability to analyze large datasets.
