Role Description The Finance Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kecamatan Dumai Timur, responsible for overseeing daily financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This role includes supervising the finance team, reviewing general ledger entries, monitoring cash flow, and coordinating month-end and year-end closing activities. The Finance Supervisor will prepare budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, and provide financial insights to support decision-making and cost control. The role also involves maintaining internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local regulations, liaising with auditors and banks, and supporting process improvements within the finance function. This position works closely with other departments to align financial plans with operational activities and business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience supervising or leading a finance or accounting team, including workload planning and performance guidance.
  • Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems, and strong skills in spreadsheets and data analysis tools.
  • Understanding of internal controls, compliance, and audit processes within a corporate environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Relevant experience in the energy, manufacturing, or industrial sector is a plus.
