Job Description

The Finance Operations & Assurance Senior Coordinator supports the Finance Operations and Control Assurance functions by executing finance operations, audit assignments, and administrative activities. This position involves assisting with financial reporting, coordinating assurance activities, assessing compliance with internal controls and policies, and supporting operational improvement initiatives to ensure the smooth functioning of finance operations and governance processes.

Job Description

  • Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Compile and organize financial data for management review.
  • Process and review AP/AR transactions (invoices, payments, reconciliations).
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and maintain audit documentation.
  • Support audit preparation with accurate and complete records.
  • Assist in maintaining financial systems and data accuracy.
  • Execute audit assignments in conjunction with the team.
  • Understand business processes and assess the effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with policies and procedures, and the efficiency of operational processes.
  • Identify weaknesses in controls or business processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare audit working papers and collect, analyze, and document sufficient audit evidence.
  • Prepare audit reports and communicate audit findings to Department Heads and Auditees.
  • Monitor audit findings to ensure corrective action plans are implemented in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree graduate in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in internal audit functions or finance roles within the hospitality industry (e.g. Income Auditor, Chief Accountant, Assistant Financial Controller, Financial Controller). Experience in hospitality finance at property level is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, financial processes, compliance, and audit practices.
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative, with strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Proactive team player; easily adaptable to changes and a fast-paced environment.
  • High mobility and willingness to travel domestically as part of the job responsibility.
  • Willing to work fully onsite.
